This will include an assessment of codes of conduct, how organisations identify and respond to incidents, and how risk management places safeguarding and beneficiaries at its core. We have recently written to all of our partners to remind them of their responsibility to provide their own mechanisms for reporting and investigating suspicions and/or allegations of sexual violence. Wherever these relate to a DFID programme we also expect that our partners report those to us in a timely manner. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/11/2018 answer text <p>The report <em>“Learning in Lagos: Comparing student achievement in Bridge, Public and Private Schools”</em> has now been completed and will be available on Devtracker by the end of the month.</p><p> </p><p>The “Developing Effective Private Education – Nigeria” (DEEPEN) programme supported improved learning outcomes for almost 1.5 million girls and boys in Lagos by providing technical assistance and supporting innovation for the private education market to improve the quality of education it provides to children, especially to poor children. This included some funding to Bridge International Academies. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/11/2018 answer text <p>The Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning programme (2018-2021) aims to reach 3 million pupils in over 4,000 schools partnerships by 2021. It will train 60,000 teachers and school leaders in both the UK and developing countries on the following:</p><ol><li><p>setting up and running equitable partnerships, which will focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);</p></li><li><p>teaching and mainstreaming development education and global citizenship content, such as the SDGs;</p></li><li><p>teaching transferable skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving; and</p></li><li><p>ensuring that education is inclusive and of high quality.</p><p> </p></li></ol><p>This training will be provided in line with best practice, using the model of two days of input, followed by approximately six weeks of putting the learning into practice, and then a follow-up to share the learning. This model worked well in the previous Connecting Classrooms programme (2015-2018), through which over 56,000 teachers were trained in the UK and overseas. This has been reiterated across government at all levels, including Ministerial, and the importance of positive engagement is emphasised in guidance to UK ODA spending departments. In addition, the Prosperity Fund is overseen by a Ministerial Board which meets regularly, with Lord Bates representing DFID. One of the Principles is commitment to human rights, which includes freedom of religion or belief.
