We have recently written to all of our partners to remind them of their responsibility to provide their own mechanisms for reporting and investigating suspicions and/or allegations of sexual violence. Wherever these relate to a DFID programme we also expect that our partners report those to us in a timely manner. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/11/2018 answer text <p>The report <em>“Learning in Lagos: Comparing student achievement in Bridge, Public and Private Schools”</em> has now been completed and will be available on Devtracker by the end of the month.</p><p> </p><p>The “Developing Effective Private Education – Nigeria” (DEEPEN) programme supported improved learning outcomes for almost 1.5 million girls and boys in Lagos by providing technical assistance and supporting innovation for the private education market to improve the quality of education it provides to children, especially to poor children. This included some funding to Bridge International Academies. The Fund is working closely with DFID policy and Transparency teams, benefiting from their experience and expertise and the International Aid Transparency Initiative to ensure it meets standards for transparency.</p><p>The Fund has already begun working towards this target, publishing its first Annual Review in 2017, alongside a data release on spend for 2016/17. The Fund was announced in the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review; no further allocations have been made beyond the initial £1.2bn allocated over the Fund’s six year lifetime. The Fund is managed and led by the National Security Secretariat in Cabinet Office. This has been reiterated across government at all levels, including Ministerial, and the importance of positive engagement is emphasised in guidance to UK ODA spending departments. In addition, the Prosperity Fund is overseen by a Ministerial Board which meets regularly, with Lord Bates representing DFID. One of the Principles is commitment to human rights, which includes freedom of religion or belief. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2018 answer text <p>The UK is the largest donor to Gavi, the global vaccine alliance, which provides developing countries with pneumococcal vaccine to protect against the main cause of pneumonia. 109 million children were given this vaccine between 2010 and 2016, thanks to Gavi’s support, saving an estimated 762,000 lives.</p><p>DFID supports Gavi’s Pneumococcol Advanced Market commitment, an innovative funding mechanism that incentivises pharmaceutical companies to produce vaccines for the world’s poorest countries at an affordable cost.
