star this property answer text <p>DFID has funded around 18% of a health project in Burma that includes the work of the Back Pack Health Worker Team (BPHWT) from 1 August 2011 – 31 July 2014. During this period the project as a whole reached approximately 225,000 people in 644 villages, proving services that included bednets to prevent malaria, malaria treatments and other basic healthcare, improved water sources, construction of latrines, water sources, hygiene promotion, and assisting pregnant women with ante-natal care.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>DFID ministers and senior officials continue to engage with the Government of Ethiopia on resettlement, including meetings with the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Hailemariam Desalegn, in May 2013, November 2013 and December 2013. One example of UK support is the development of a database of 10m poor households, which the Egyptian Government can use to target cash transfers towards the poorest.
