	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/09/2017 answer text <p>With 1.8 billion people globally between the ages of 10 and 24, DFID is ensuring that young people are at the centre of all our work, supporting their access to quality education, improved healthcare, and decent work; regardless of their background.</p><p> </p><p>We aim to provide young people with a genuine say in shaping a positive future for their countries. This was illustrated most recently at the 2017 Family Planning summit, which had a Youth Panel that played a key role in setting the agenda and outcomes of the event.</p><p> </p><p>We are also working directly with 5-18 year olds in the UK through our Development Education programme. Women and girls subjected to intimate partner violence can be up to 1.5 times more likely to acquire HIV. DFID has made significant progress in scaling up efforts to address violence against women and girls and preventing sexual violence in conflict, nearly doubling our programming from 64 programmes in 2012 to 127 in 2016. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/03/2017 answer text <p>The full implications of the reinstated and expanded Mexico City policy on global funding for the HIV response are not yet clear, but we are closely following developments. DFID will consider the implications with our offices, with UK civil society and with donors. The UK has made a £1.1 billion pledge to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria for the 5th replenishment 2017-2019, increased from £800m for the 4th replenishment.
