In November 2016, the Secretary of State announced new funding to support 40 grassroots organisations with the local knowledge and expertise to address Female Genital Mutilation and child, early and forced marriage. Immediately after the 2015 earthquake, the Department for International Development (DFID) provided humanitarian relief for thousands of displaced people. This included reaching over 250,000 people with shelter support and providing over 200,000 people with clothes, blankets and mattresses.</p><p>We are now supporting reconstruction. We have already repaired water supplies for over 33,000 people, and rehabilitated 114km of remote trails. We are working with the Nepali Government to find solutions for all households who remain displaced by the earthquake. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/07/2016 answer text <p>The operational limitations set out in paragraphs 7.57 to 7.67 of the Atkins’ Feasibility Study refer to work undertaken to assess the feasibility of a 1,400 m landing runway. This option was not adopted and the St Helena Airport has landing runways of 1,550 m from the north, and 1,535 m from the south. This addresses the limitation referred to. With regard to cargo provision, the proposed Comair flights were to have carried a minimum of one tonne of air freight, and the St Helena Government has already entered into a contract for sea freight on a commercial basis.</p><p>Paragraphs 7.68 to 7.81 concern the procurement of an air service which was undertaken through competitive tender in 2014 and resulted in the appointment of Comair to provide scheduled services.</p><p>Paragraphs 7.82 and 13.113 both refer to the requirement for flight trials to be carried out. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/07/2016 answer text <p>The UK is supporting the Afghan government to responsibly develop its mineral wealth in accordance with OECD guidelines.</p><p>Through the Extractives Sector Support Programme (ESSP), the UK supports the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP) to review the legal framework governing extractives and to build a transparent and disciplined fiscal regime. Through the Extractives Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) the UK is supporting the transparent development of the sector, including through supporting Afghan civil society to bring clarity to the informal mining sector.</p><p>The UK is supporting President Ghani’s anti-corruption initiatives, including his commitment that the beneficial ownership of mining companies will be disclosed as part of Afghanistan’s implementation of the EITI. The UK is one of the largest donors to the ARTF which supports the Afghan government to deliver basic services across the country. The fund also supports the South Sudan Healthcare system to deliver lifesaving care, ranging from Primary Health Units in more remote areas to State Hospitals.
