According to UNHCR’s refugees profiling report on years of residency, as of 2014: approximately 64% of the refugees have lived in the shelter for less than 10 years. The United Nations (UN) Sudan 2015 Humanitarian Response Plan estimates that in Darfur 430,000 people were displaced in 2014 resulting in a total number of 2.5 million people displaced. Gender inclusion forms an integral part of provincial and national education programmes. Our programmes have supported 4.7 million girls to complete primary school in Pakistan and 2.7 million girls to complete secondary school in Punjab. Since 2000, DFID has spent £914 million on education in Pakistan, including £122.7m in 2017/18. We are not able to disaggregate this spend by gender. This support is mainly focussed on schools in the Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Sindh with our two largest sector reform programmes operating in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Inclusion and respect for minority communities forms an integral part of our provincial and national education programmes in Pakistan. For example, the KESP programme in KP, which aims to improve learning outcomes for all children, has an increasing focus on girls and marginalised groups. Our work to promote inclusion includes: training nearly 100,000 teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab in equity and inclusion; funding the Alif Ailaan education campaign which focusses on religious minorities; and engaging with education civil society organisations to champion issues of inclusion and raise these with government. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/12/2018 answer text <p>The UK supports the peace process in Burma through the Joint Peace Fund and the Joint Monitoring Committee.</p><p> </p><p>The UK has provided GBP £5.4 million to the Joint Peace Fund (JPF) since 2015. The JPF is funded by 11 international donors and supports all parties to the peace process on peacebuilding measures such as dialogue and negotiation. Of the £5.4m provided by the UK, £283,000 has been provided to the government of Burma. The UK has also provided £136,000 to the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It reached over 8m people to increase the voice, choice and control of poor and excluded people in Pakistan. It included a focus on women and minorities to promote tolerance and inclusion. Beneficiary feedback from people who participated in interventions suggested a shift in attitudes towards minorities.
