In March we confirmed that we had reached agreement on the implementation period, on citizens’ rights and on the financial settlement. We recently published a joint statement setting out the further progress we have made in locking down the text on many separation issues and we have now reached agreement on the vast majority of the Withdrawal Agreement.</p><p> </p><p>Given this, agreeing a deal is increasingly likely. Nevertheless, as a responsible government we are preparing for all possible outcomes. Departments’ plans are well developed and are designed to respond to all scenarios, including the unlikely possibility that we leave the EU without a deal in place. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/05/2018 answer text <p>As a result of the significant progress made in negotiations, and the agreement reached at March European Council on the implementation period and Withdrawal Agreement, we are increasingly confident that we will secure a deal with the EU and that the prospect of leaving negotiations with ‘no deal’ has receded significantly.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The section of the Withdrawal Agreement dealing with Financial Provisions was agreed at negotiators’ level at the time of the March European Council. As such it was turned ‘green’ and is now considered closed. Over three quarters of the Withdrawal Agreement text overall is now coloured green.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We have been clear that we will be reaching an agreement on our future partnership at the same time as the Withdrawal Agreement.
