	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/06/2019 answer text <p>The broadband Universal Service Obligation (USO) will be available to every UK premise that is not receiving a broadband service that meets that minimum specification set out in the Universal Service Broadband Order 2018, up to the reasonable cost threshold of £3,400 per premise.</p><p>This includes people operating businesses from their homes in rural locations.</p><p> </p><p>Homes and businesses in some hard to reach area will soon be able to benefit from the Rural Gigabit Connectivity programme, announced on 19 May. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>We have discussed the procurement of steel with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, which has asked all Government departments to consider guidance on steel procurement and to notify of any upcoming opportunities for industry.</p><p> </p><p>More broadly, the Government is committed to supporting the steel sector to realise the broader commercial opportunities that are open to it, which could be worth an additional £3.8 billion a year by 2030. We are establishing the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund – backed by up to £315m of investment – to help businesses with high energy use (including steel companies) to cut their bills and transition UK industry to a low carbon future. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) runs the cyber security information sharing partnership (CiSP).</p><p> </p><p>The CiSP platform has both private and public organisations registered, with over 20 sectors represented. There are over 5,000 organisations and over 11,300 individual members with an active CiSP account as at 1st July 2019. In the past 12 months there have been over 4,000 content pieces published on the CiSP platform, including blogs, alerts and advisories.</p><p> </p><p>The NCSC does not have a set target to meet in terms of registering organisations and individual members. These security controls are kept under continual review. The primary objective for Cyber Essentials is to help all organisations mitigate cyber security risks, especially small and medium-sized organisations. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/06/2019 answer text <p>We are committed to becoming a world leader in 5G, and for the majority of the population to have access to a 5G signal by 2027. Following the Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review which sets out the Government’s national, long-term strategy for delivering world leading telecoms infrastructure across the UK, the Government is working to create the right conditions for the deployment of 5G.</p><p> </p><p>Ministers have regular discussions with Mobile Network Operators on a full range of subjects relating to mobile coverage and future digital infrastructure development, including 5G. Specific issues relating to health concerns and the natural environment are the responsibility of DHSC/Public Health England (PHE) and DEFRA respectively.</p><p> </p><p>A considerable amount of research has been carried out on radio waves and we anticipate no negative effects on public health.</p><p>PHE’s Centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards (CRCE) takes the lead on public health matters associated with radiofrequency electromagnetic fields, or radio waves, used in telecommunications.</p><p>Central to PHE advice is that exposures to radio waves should comply with the guidelines published by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). These include making company directors personally liable for any breach of the rules by their company and banning unwanted calls from claims management companies and pensions providers in the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018. We are also funding the National Trading Standards Scams Team to provide telephone call blocking technology to vulnerable people, as announced during the Chancellor's budget last year.
