This includes measures to strengthen protections around online gambling and gambling advertising, which can be found here:</p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/consultation-on-proposals-for-changes-to-gaming-machines-and-social-responsibility-measures</p><p> </p><p>In addition we are introducting a new package of measures to strengthen protections around around online gambling and Gamble Aware will lead a major responsible gambling advertising campaign, to make sure parents and children are aware of risks associated with gambling.</p><p> </p><p>Protecting children and vulnerable people is a key aim for the Gambling Commission and government.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>This Government takes gambling-related harm seriously and in May we announced a strong package of measures to tackle it. We have taken decisive action on fixed-odds betting terminals to cut the maximum stake to £2. On 5<sup>th</sup> September, the Gambling Commission launched its consultation on proposals to increase player protections online, including stronger age and identity verification. star this property answer text <p>The Civil Society Strategy recently set out government's long term ambition to grow social value commissioning and strengthen the Social Value Act.</p><p>We have already committed £2.7 million to support the growth and sustainability of public service mutuals, the majority of which are staff-led social enterprises.</p><p> </p><p>With the Cabinet Office, DCMS is implementing a package of measures for the future of social value and procurement. This includes training for government commercial staff and will help unlock more opportunities for social enterprises.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We expect all owners of sports facilities and stadia to take the necessary action to fulfil their legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 so that disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage when accessing sports venues.</p><p> </p><p>Our Sports Strategy commits Government to work with the football authorities to ensure that all clubs meet their legal obligations under the Equality Act to accommodate disabled spectators. Sport England provides guidance to organisations to support them in developing accessible facilities.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We take problem gambling very seriously and protecting vulnerable people is a key aim for the Government and the Gambling Commission.</p><p> </p><p>The rate of problem gambling among the adult population in Britain has remained relatively stable over many years, and is currently 0.8%.</p><p> </p><p>Our consultation on gaming machines and social responsibility closed in January. It made clear we will cut stakes on fixed-odds betting terminals. It also included measures to strengthen protections around other gaming machines, online gambling and gambling advertising.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>I was appointed as Minister for Sport and Civil Society in July. The Civil Society portfolio includes responsibility for Youth Policy, the National Citizen Service and the UK Youth Parliament. There was no change in the number of civil servants in the department as a result of that appointment.</p><p> </p><p>DCMS conducted a series of regional workshops in March and April to discuss current issues for youth policy with representatives from the youth sector, local authorities and young people. The evidence gathered is being used by the Office for Civil Society across their youth policy work.</p> more like this

We are giving the report’s recommendations full consideration and will respond in due course.
