Charity trustees must also consider the well-being and protection of staff, volunteers and beneficiaries – not just those they are there to help. The Charity Commission, the independent registrar and regulator of charities in England and Wales, is assessing and dealing with the allegations that have been raised regarding the Presidents Club Charitable Trust as a matter of urgency. Currently BBC channels (excluding BBC Parliament) are required to audio describe 10% of their programme content (except in the case of BBC News). Ofcom publishes reports on the provision of access services.
