star this property answer text <p>The Department has had no specific discussions with the Gambling Commission on sexual harassment or sexist practices at gambling industry events. Legislation relating to sexual harassment and equality applies to all industries and events and we would expect any breaches to be dealt with under such legislation.The Gambling Commission has reminded the industry that more diverse organisations, boards and teams make better decisions and play an important role in good governance to make gambling fairer and safer. star this property answer text <p>The Secretary of State and I were first made aware about the potential sale of Wembley stadium when The FA Chair and Chief Executive came to see us on the 17 April 2018.</p><p> </p><p>It will be for my Department to lead on behalf of Government on further discussions with the FA on any potential sale of the stadium over the course of this month. Together with Sport England and the Greater London Authority we will be seeking reassurances that both the interests of the national team and the grassroots are protected and would benefit from any potential deal.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>I recently announced my intention to commission an external analysis of evidence relating to the all-seater policy. The Department will be going out to tender for this piece of work shortly, and our aim is that the initial analysis work will be completed by the end of the year. star this property answer text <p>Government's Sporting Future strategy, published in December 2015, set out that in future, all funding for grassroots sport should deliver five key outcomes; physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, social and community development, individual development and economic development.</p><p> </p><p>Sport England are government's arms length body with responsibility for grassroots sport. Sport England invest lottery and exchequer funding on behalf of government to get more people from every background involved in sport and physical activity.</p><p> </p><p>Sport England launched its own strategy, Towards an Active Nation in 2016. Since then it has awarded £532 million across a wide range of projects and organisations, many receiving investment for the first time.
