star this property answer text <p>UK companies have been central to the development of the Galileo satellite navigation system since its inception. While the UK remains a Member of the European Union we will fully participate in the EU space programmes including Galileo, and it is the Government’s position that UK industry should be able to compete fairly for contracts during this period. The Government would welcome an agreement to continue to collaborate with our European partners on major science, research, and technology initiatives however the details of any future relationship will be part of the upcoming negotiations.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Traffic Light System for monitoring induced seismicity was introduced after consideration of advice from three scientists, following operations at Cuadrilla’s Preese Hall site in 2011. The level of magnitude 0.5 at which operators must pause operations, was set in consultation with industry as an appropriate precautionary measure. These regulations have been working as intended and there are no plans to review the Traffic Light System.</p> more like this
