I have raised this issue as a priority with the Electoral Commission and look forward to their report on the 2017 General Election.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>It is possible to determine whether an individual has voted twice at a General Election by checking the marked register of those who have voted. Helping the affected community recover and learning the lessons of Grenfell Tower remains a matter of critical importance to the Government.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Red Tape Challenge was launched by the Cabinet Office in 2011 and ran until 2015. The Red Tape Challenge had, by 2014, identified over 3,000 regulations to remove or improve, delivering estimated savings to UK businesses of over £850m per year as a result of the programme.
