answer text <p>The Government will do it all it can to maintain the integrity of the United Kingdom, and the institutions which underpin it. While no part of the UK should be forced to remain in or leave the UK against its wishes, in last year's referendum people in Scotland voted to remain in the UK and both the UK and Scottish Governments have committed to respect the result in the Edinburgh Agreement. Therefore we have no plans to hold another referendum on this issue.</p> more like this
