answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/05/2022 answer text <p>Following the Government’s response to the consultation on redundancy protection and pregnancy and maternity discrimination the country entered a period of unprecedented challenge as it tackled the pandemic. The Government took extensive measures to support and protect the people most affected, including pregnant women and new mothers.</p><p> </p><p>As the country emerged from the pandemic, the Government established a Pregnancy and Maternity Discrimination Advisory Board. We are the first Government to introduce a legal duty to clean up our waterways, backed up by our direction to Ofwat. We are cracking down on water companies, putting in place ambitious targets, and we have launched a consultation on our plan to reduce storm overflows.
