answer text <p>The Department has no plans, at present, to provide claimants with direct access to their previous claims.</p><p>A key reason a claimant cannot access a previous claim is that it could contain information the Department has an obligation to protect. This could include, for example, information about a previous partner. However, if a claimant, who has had a previous claim closed, needs to access their own information contained in previous statements or their journal, a case manager can access this information on their behalf and provide them with any information they might require.</p> more like this

answer text <p>All calls taken by helpline staff and case managers in UCFS are recorded in full and are retrievable from our telephony provider based on the originating telephone number.</p><p> </p><p>For callers with an active claim, agents will update the Universal Credit system with any relevant information from the call to allow for a continuous service across multiple interactions. Where a caller does not have an active claim this is not possible and the call recording would be the repository for the content of the call.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Banks are under no obligation in law to inform customers of the reasons for an account closure.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, under s333A of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, it is a criminal offence for a person who has made a disclosure to the appropriate authorities under Part 7 (in relation to suspicions of money laundering) to inform the customer that they have done so, where that could prejudice an investigation. This applies to banks, where an account closure is the result of suspected criminal activity. answer text <p>It is vital that as housing supply increases, the quality of new build homes improves. We expect all housing developers to deliver good quality housing, to deliver it on time, and to treat house buyers fairly.</p><p>We know more needs to be done to strengthen consumer redress for purchasers of new build homes, we announced our intention for there to be a New Homes Ombudsman to protect the rights of homebuyers and hold developers to account.</p><p>When Parliamentary time allows, we intend to introduce legislation to require developers of new build homes to belong to a New Homes Ombudsman, which will be underpinned in statute.</p><p>We will consult on the detail of the proposed legislation to statutorily underpin a New Homes Ombudsman. This will include the approval mechanisms and standards that a New Homes Ombudsman must meet as well as whether a Code of Practice for developers should also be underpinned in legislation.</p> more like this

answer text <p>UK Visas and Immigration are rolling out a new application platform across all application routes. The new application forms have been built to comply with the Government Digital Service standard, which in turn ensures compliance with wider standards on usability and accessibility.</p><p>Extensive testing has taken place with real users of the service, observing how they interact with the forms and adapting the design and questions in accordance with feedback from those testing sessions. In addition, we offer Assisted Digital support for customers who have difficulty completing online immigration applications, for example, if they do not have the appropriate access, skills or confidence to complete an online application without assistance.</p><p>Support is provided over the phone or face-to-face in locations across the UK, in a library or other voluntary sector centre or by a home visit from a tutor. This service has been available since September 2017 to customers who are based in the UK and has recently been extended to include the EU Settlement Scheme.</p>

As we said in our response to the Social Security Advisory Committee, we will do further work on explicit consent.
