answer text <p>In the case of gas, UK Trade and Investment is active in helping the UK oil and gas sector do more business internationally. In addition the remit of the new Oil &amp; Gas Authority, established in 2015, is to work with government and industry to make sure that maximum economic benefit is derived from the UK’s oil and gas reserves.</p><p> </p><p>UK companies are freely able to export and import coal as part of normal market operators.</p><p> </p><p>UK demand for both coal and gas outweighs domestic supply, therefore the UK imports the vast majority of its coal needs and around half of its gas supply.</p><p> </p> more like this

It has a baby changing table, a specified refrigerator for storing expressed milk, a chair which has been specially designed to provide support when breastfeeding or expressing milk, as well as first aid couches for resting and privacy screens. Our office in Aberdeen also has a private room available for nursing mothers which has a chair and a specified refrigerator for storing expressed milk.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Under the <em>Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property)(England and Wales) Regulations 2015</em>, all landlords of domestic and non-domestic privately rented property in England and Wales will need to ensure that, from 1 April 2018, their properties reach at least an energy performance rating of E before granting a tenancy to new or existing tenants, unless a prescribed exemption applies.</p><p> </p><p>Based on the most recent English Housing Survey data, DECC has estimated that, as of 2015, there were approximately 330,000 domestic PRS properties in England and Wales with an energy performance rating below E. Landlords will need to ensure that energy efficiency improvements are made to these properties to raise their energy efficiency ratings to a minimum of E, unless a valid exemption applies.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property)(England and Wales) Regulations 2015 require that, from April 2018, domestic and non-domestic private landlords ensure their properties have a minimum energy efficiency rating of E at the point at which they issue a new tenancy, or renewing or extending an existing one.</p><p> </p><p>The domestic regulations apply to all private rented dwellings which are legally required to have an EPC, and where the tenants are on assured tenancies under the Housing Act 1988, regulated tenancies under the Rent Act 1977 or certain types of agricultural tenancy. The minimum standard will apply where a building has an EPC and only part of the building is let (such as on an individual room basis) on an applicable tenancy.</p><p> </p><p>The Department is currently developing guidance documents to assist landlords in complying with their obligations under the regulations, and to support enforcement authorities in fulfilling their duties.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
