answer text <p>The Energy Prices Act 2022 contains a provision requiring intermediaries to pass on energy price support to end users. answer text <p>The Government published an impact assessment for expanding and reforming the scheme in England and Wales which compared the number of rebates under the assessed options. The Government does not hold data on who received a rebate under the Broader Group in previous scheme years and therefore has not conducted an assessment of the number of people who were previously eligible, who will no longer be eligible in this scheme year.</p><p> </p><p>There will be an online eligibility checker on gov.uk to help people understand if they may be eligible, and the Government is sharing information on the new scheme with energy suppliers and charities.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government has expanded and reformed the Warm Home Discount scheme in England and Wales to target fuel poverty better, provide the majority of the rebates automatically, and standardise the eligibility across all participating energy suppliers. Over 3 million households will receive a rebate this winter.</p><p> </p><p>Energy suppliers can provide additional support to households through the Industry Initiatives portion of the scheme, through measures such as financial assistance, debt write-off, benefit entitlement checks, energy advice, and energy efficiency.</p> more like this

answer text <p>In January, the Government published updates on the Transport and Storage business model with a further update due by the end of the year.</p><p> </p><p>In April 2022, draft form contracts were published for both power and Industrial Carbon Capture business models. Government is working to develop adaptations to the industrial business model for waste management CCS projects.</p><p> </p><p>The Government expects to publish a response to the Power Bioenergy Carbon Capture and Storage business model consultation in the new year.</p> more like this

However, in order to gather information among parents on how parental entitlements, including Paternity Leave and Pay, are used in practice, the Government commissioned the Parental Rights Survey as part of the Shared Parental Leave (SPL) evaluation.</p><p> </p><p>We intend to publish the SPL evaluation and underpinning research, which includes information on the take-up of Statutory Paternity Leave and Pay, in due course.</p> more like this

answer text <p>As announced on 29 July, the EBSS Alternative Funding will be available to provide equivalent support of £400 for energy bills for households that will not receive the EBSS.
