answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/10/2019 answer text <p>The UK Government has not made any representations to the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) about the Maxmur refugee camp. Restrictions of movement are limited to Erbil. The UN Refugee Agency is negotiating with the KRG on allowing this camp population access to Erbil. We continue to monitor restrictions of movement across camp populations and regularly meet with UN agencies and the KRG to discuss the humanitarian situation inside camps.</p><p> </p><p>The Secretary of State has been in contact with Sir Mark Lowcock, the UN Emergency Relief Coordinator, to identify any gaps in the humanitarian response, and ensure those affected by the situation in Northeast Syria are getting the support they need.</p> answering member printed Baroness Sugg question first answered 28/10/2019 17:23:17 answering member 4584 label Biography information for Baroness Sugg

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/10/2015 answer text <p>The Joint Coordination and Monitoring Centre (JCMC) in Baghdad and Joint Crisis Centre (JCC) in Erbil were formally launched in July 2015. Since then, they have been meeting regularly, working closely together to plan for future humanitarian operations as well as coordinating support for those currently requiring assistance. We recognise the necessity of a cohesive, joined-up humanitarian response between the Government of Iraq and Kurdish Regional Government and have been a strong supporter of both organisations. This is underpinned by a £1 million UK contribution to UNDP to deliver a capacity building programme for the JCMC and JCC.</p><p>In total, the UK has committed £79.5 million to the humanitarian crisis in Iraq since June 2014.</p> answering member printed Baroness Verma question first answered 14/10/2015 15:07:52 answering member 3790 label Biography information for Baroness Verma
