answer text <p>I have regular meetings with stakeholders across Wales on matters related to the UK’s Exit from the EU, including on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It is important we take time to consider the legitimate concerns of businesses, the voluntary sector and communities around the excessive bureaucracy of the current system, and use them to design a fund that works for the whole of the UK, as well as its constituent parts.</p> more like this

answer text <p>It is not possible to estimate the value of inward investment from the Republic of Ireland to Wales. Both the Department for International Trade (DIT) and the Office for National Statistics (ONS) produce inward investment statistics. DIT’s published data doesn’t connect origin and destination for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects. ONS data meanwhile operates at aggregated national level. answer text <p>The Department for Exiting the European Union, working with officials across Government, including the Office of the Secretary of State for Wales, is undertaking a wide range of analysis covering the entirety of the UK economy, including Wales, to support the negotiations.</p><p> </p><p>It is not standard practice to provide an ongoing commentary on internal analytical work that is being carried out within government.
