answer text <p>The government has recently closed a call for evidence on how the tax system or charges can be used to tackle single-use plastic waste. The government received over 130,000 responses, including many views on the definition of single-use plastics. These responses are currently being reviewed. The government is committed to taking action in this area, and will announce its next steps regarding specific policy proposals in the autumn.</p> more like this
