I had no discussions with the Secretary of State for the Home Department regarding the use of Penally training camp as accommodation for asylum seekers prior to 12 September. I first spoke to the Secretary of State for the Home Department about this matter on 13 September and have had numerous discussions with Home Department Ministers and officials since.
