<p>End of Custody Supervised License (ECSL) only operates in the prisons where it is required, and it is currently not operating in the women’s estate. The use of ECSL is under constant review and prior to extending its use in the male estate the impact on the criminal justice system, victims and others was carefully considered.</p>
