<p>The Ministry of Justice has partnered with the London Mayor’s Office for Policing
and Crime (MOPAC) to establish an innovative Youth to Adult Hub (or Transition to
Adulthood Pilot) in Newham. The Hub brings a range of holistic trauma-informed services
together under one roof working alongside Probation Service staff, to improve outcomes
for young adults aged 18-25 years old and 17-year-olds transitioning into adult probation.</p><p>
</p><p>The Newham Hub was launched in 2021 and was allocated £3 million in government
funding through the Shared Outcomes Fund for a two-year pilot ending in March 2023.
MoJ is the lead government department, with MOPAC acting as programme manager and
lead commissioner. The pilot has since been extended for a further year, funded by
London Probation, MOPAC and the Barrow Cadbury Trust.</p>
