answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/04/2019 answer text <p>My Department has no current plans to collect information on the number of homeless people who are Sikh.</p><p>In April 2018 the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government introduced a new case-level data collection called H-CLIC (Homelessness Case Level Information Collection). This gives local authorities and Government more information regarding homelessness and those presenting as homeless, including demographic information.</p><p>The Government is committed to reducing homelessness and rough sleeping. No one should ever have to sleep rough. That is why last summer we published the cross-government Rough Sleeping Strategy. This sets out an ambitious £100 million package to help people who sleep rough now, but also puts in place the structures that will end rough sleeping once and for all. This does not break down the number of deaths by religion. Whilst we recognise that suitable housing is a key part of the solution, health services have a significant role to play, alongside other public services. The MHCLG is working with the DHSC to ensure that rough sleepers have the health care they need, when they need it. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/03/2019 answer text <p>Local authority data returns for 2018-19 will not be published until 2020 and we will not have new data available until then.</p><p>As stated in response to the previous question on this matter, Question 202108, we estimate from local authority data returns for the period 2016-2017, that there was a stock of 495,208 Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in England at that time.
