In 2017-18, there were 4,595 additional new build affordable housing completed in populations of less than 3,000 people. The Department does not collect a detailed breakdown of affordable housing by tenure specifically for populations of less than 3,000 people. The Department does not collect centrally information on affordable housing starts in populations of less than 3,000 people.
