answer text <p>Contributions from development towards local infrastructure are collected primarily through two mechanisms, Section 106 planning obligations and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). Local authorities can use both mechanisms to help fund public health infrastructure.</p><p>Local planning authorities should work closely with healthcare infrastructure providers to identify infrastructure capacity and requirements over the plan period. Local planning authorities should assess the quality and capacity of infrastructure and the ability to meet forecasted demands to determine if such infrastructure is required.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The draft revised National Planning Policy Framework promotes the effective use of land, including brownfield sites.</p><p>The Government has agreed a bespoke housing package with the West Midlands Combined Authority, which includes Coventry, that will see 215,000 homes delivered by 2030/1. Through the package we have backed the ambition of the Mayor through a Land Fund of up to £100 million to acquire and bring land forward around priority sites across the area.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government funds affordable housing through the Affordable Homes programme. The information requested is not available for Coventry, as we do not publish funding details at a local level.</p><p>The Affordable Homes programme as a whole received £4.5 billion of funding from 2011 - 2015, and a further £2.9 billion of funding from 2015 – 2018.</p><p>The 2016 - 2022 Shared Ownership and Affordable Homes programme received £5.7 billion of funding which includes £1 billion of commitments from the 2015 - 2018 programme. There was also an additional £1.4 billion announced at Autumn Statement 2016 and then a further £2 billion announced on 4 October 2017, which brings the total funding for 2016 - 2022 to more than £9 billion.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Homes England have identified 29 flats where Help to Buy: Equity Loan held a share of the equity for the New Capital Quay development. Further work is ongoing to validate this information.</p><p>The Department has not made an assessment of the future valuation of such properties because it would rely on the individual situation and judgement of an independent valuer at the time the property owner decides they wish to redeem their equity loan.</p> more like this

The time taken at both stages reflects the interaction required between the agency and the borrower on each case.</p><p>There has been a large amount of interest in the funds with over 2,000 enquiries, receiving on average 25 a week since the funds launched and Homes England are working hard to speed up the application process.</p><p>In order to meet demand, Homes England has introduced a new streamlined enquiry and application process as part of their improved Service Standards and has recruited more staff to manage applications and reduce the timescales.</p>
