<p>The new Challenger 3 (CR3) Main Battle Tank will mount the Rheinmetall R55A1 high pressure gun which, when used with advanced armour-defeating ammunition, will enable CR3 to defeat the latest armoured threats it may face. Several ammunition options are being considered; however, no decisions have yet been made.</p><p> </p>
