answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/10/2018 answer text <p>A wide range of synthetic cannabinoids are misleadingly supplied under the street name Spice.</p><p>We recognise how dangerous these drugs can be. That is why we acted to control this group of substances as class B drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and give the police the powers they need to take action, including making possession illegal and making longer sentences for dealers possible.</p><p>Our Drug Strategy emphasises the importance of a joined-up approach to tackling the harms caused by drugs to prevent substance misuse, restrict the supply of drugs and support people to recover from drug dependency. More specifically:</p><p>The Provider shall perform the Services to meet or exceed the Performance Standards defined in the Statement of Requirements and the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) defined within the Performance Management Regime.</p><p>Service Credits associated with Provider performance failures against the KPI targets, shall be applied by the Authority from the Contract Effective Date.</p><p>Service Credits will be applied in the event of performance failures against KPIs, at a level commensurate with the Provider’s degree of failure against the relevant KPI.
