The Prime Minister and the Taoiseach have reiterated their intention for both countries to work together to maintain the CTA.</p><p>At present the UK remains in the EU and there will be no immediate changes. This is a voluntary scheme whereby local authorities sign up to accept refugees on a voluntary basis. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/07/2016 answer text <p>The longest outstanding application for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate is 25 months.</p><p>It would not be appropriate to comment further on this specific case, but there are a number of factors which can affect the timely completion of checks.
