<p>The Home office does not collect data on the number of police cautions issued for
anti-social behaviour and has not estimated what proportion of time police officers
spend dealing with anti-social behaviour incidents</p><p>It is for Chief Constables
and Police and Crime Commissioners, as operational leaders and elected local representatives,
to decide how best to respond to individual crimes and local priorities</p><p>To help
ensure that the police have the resources they need to do so we have given them the
biggest funding increase in a decade and are recruiting 20,000 additional officers
by March 2023, which provides extra resource to protect the public and keep us safe.</p>
