answer text <p>The Home Office does not centrally hold the information requested.</p><p>From April 2017 the Home Office requested information on a voluntary basis from police forces on the number of individuals released on pre-charge bail following arrest, broken down by bail length.</p><p>Data received from 17 police forces has been published within the ‘Police powers and procedures, England and Wales’ statistical bulletin, for the 2017/18 financial year. These figures provide an incomplete picture and can be accessed here: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/police-powers-and-procedures-england-and-wales-year-ending-31-march-2018" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/police-powers-and-procedures-england-and-wales-year-ending-31-march-2018</a></p><p>Data on the number of individuals released on pre-charge bail following arrest, have been requested on a mandatory basis from April 2018, and are intended for publication in the next edition of the ‘Police powers and procedures, England and Wales’ statistical bulletin, due for release on 24 October 2019.</p><p>The police retain the ability to use pre-charge bail where necessary and proportionate, including to protect witnesses and victims.</p>

answer text <p>The Answers stated that all the figures given were from local management information. The statistics are collated from management information held by the UK Central Authority.</p><p>They have not been quality assured to the level of published National Statistics, and as such they should be treated as provisional and therefore subject to change. I can confirm that they are not collected from local government and are held centrally.</p> more like this

answer text <p>As a matter of long-standing policy and practice, we do not disclose whether an extradition request has been made or received until such time as a person is arrested in relation to the request. We therefore cannot provide the total number of extradition requests made by the UK for US citizens in each year since 2014.</p><p>We can however provide the total number of US citizens (including dual nationals) arrested in relation to extradition requests made by the UK to the US since 2014. answer text <p>The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies to care homes and the parts of multi-occupied residential premises that are used in common by occupants of more than one dwelling. The Fire Safety Order requires those responsible for a premises to undertake and review regularly a fire risk assessment and put in place and maintain adequate and appropriate fire protection measures to mitigate the risk to life from fire to as low as is reasonably practicable.</p><p><br>The Home Office recently launched a Call for Evidence on the Fire Safety Order to ensure it remains fit for purpose. The call for evidence runs until 31 July 2019.</p> more like this
