answer text <p>The lines in the Autumn Statement document which the Hon. Member’s questions refer to consolidate funding allocations in relation to some broad areas of government responsibility, such as housing and transport. However, at fiscal events such as Budget and Autumn Statement, the Barnett formula is applied to individual spending allocations. The table below sets out the Barnett consequentials for the Scottish Government of spending decisions taken at Autumn Statement 2016 within each of the categories highlighted by the references in the Hon.
