Our close relationship with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) allows us to discuss important issues such as human rights and where the UK has cause for concern, we raise these concerns at official and Ministerial level. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/12/2018 answer text <p>​As of November 2018, we are aware of 107 British nationals in arrest or detention cases in the United Arab Emirates. This can include British nationals in immigration detention, in police custody, on remand awaiting trial, on bail, and sentenced prisoners.
