It is separate from the £20.5 billion revenue funding increase for the NHS announced on 18 June 2018.</p><p> </p><p>The 75 successful STP schemes announced included 13 mental health/learning disability schemes with a total value of £208 million. This is 22% of the overall £963 million funding made available.</p><p> </p><p>One of those 13 schemes is in Liverpool with £6.961 million awarded for child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust for a 12 Bedded Tier 4 unit. This is for a purpose build facility to provide a North West centre of excellence for CAMHS inpatient services, supporting children with the most complex needs in the area.</p><p> </p><p>A second CAMHS scheme worth £2.807 million was awarded to Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for re-provision of current CAMHS Tier 4 inpatient provision at a new site. In total therefore £9.768 million has been awarded for CAMHS facilities. It is also the role of National Health Service trusts as employers to ensure they have sufficient staff with the right skills to care for their patients.</p><p> </p><p>Subject to the outcome of this work, HEE would seek to influence the General Medical Council, medical schools and Royal Colleges in discharging their responsibilities for curricula or post registration training and qualifications in ensuring the NHS has available the workforce the NHS requires. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/12/2018 answer text <p>Each National Health Service organisation is responsible for providing support services to their staff, including when they may experience traumatic events such as the suicide of a patient.</p><p> </p><p>The National Quality Improvement Board published ‘Learning from deaths: Guidance for NHS trusts on working with bereaved families and carers’ in July, which highlights the importance of providers addressing the needs of staff who have experienced a patient suicide as well as working compassionately with bereaved families.</p><p> </p><p>In October, the Government announced £2 million of funding for the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) over the next two years.
