<p>Public Health England’s 2014 report ‘Estimating local mortality burdens associated
with particulate air pollution’ estimated the mortality burden in 2010 associated
with long-term exposure to human-made particulate air pollution at local authority
level, expressed in terms of attributable deaths and associated loss of life. Further
