PHE, in partnership with the United Nations International Childrens’ Emergency Fund (UNICEF), published an infant feeding commissioning toolkit to support the commissioning of interventions to improve breastfeeding rates, available at the following link:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/infant-feeding-commissioning-services" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/infant-feeding-commissioning-services</a></p><p>LAs and their partners are encouraged to provide a comprehensive universal service with access to specialist support when needed. The Department is working closely with all suppliers to resolve the situation and expedite further deliveries as soon as possible. Additional deliveries of naproxen are expected throughout January and February.</p><p> </p><p>As a responsible Government, we continue to prepare proportionately for all scenarios following our exit from the European Union in March 2019, including a ‘no-deal’ scenario. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/01/2019 answer text <p>It is the responsibility of local providers and commissioners of NHS services to make the reasonable adjustments required by the Equality Act 2010 to ensure that disabled people, including those with hearing impairments, are not placed at a disadvantage compared to non-disabled people.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, under the NHS Constitution for England, National Health Service organisations are required to provide high quality comprehensive services, based on clinical need, which do not discriminate between patients on the basis of disability, including people with hearing impairments.</p><p> </p><p>In order to reduce the unacceptable variation in the provision of accessible information and communication support to disabled people, all organisations in England that provide NHS care or publicly-funded adult social care have been legally required to follow the Accessible Information Standard since 1 August 2016. This ensures that people with a disability, impairment or sensory loss are provided with information they can easily read or understand, with support, so they can communicate effectively with services. Jeremy Hunt MP) announced the intention of the Department to develop a state-backed indemnity scheme for general practice in England. This announcement recognised that the rising cost of clinical negligence is a great source of concern for general practitioners (GPs).</p><p> </p><p>The state-backed scheme is being designed to meet the needs of current and future GPs, offer affordable cover for GPs, and offer value for money for taxpayers.</p><p> </p><p>Since the announcement, the Government has been developing the design of the scheme. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2018 answer text <p>The Department is working very closely with all the manufacturers of adrenaline auto-injectors, the Medicines and Health products Regulatory Agency, and NHS England and the supply situation is improving. Supplies of EpiPen 0.3mg and the alternative adrenaline auto-injectors are currently available across the country in volumes that are sufficient to meet normal United Kingdom requirements and further deliveries of all three brands of adrenaline auto-injectors are expected in the coming weeks. Comprehensive information and guidance, with input from National Health Service allergy experts has been cascaded to all healthcare professionals, schools, patient groups and frontline NHS services, which provides information about the supply issue, clinical management options and advice to share with patients.
