<p>It is not possible to identify patients who have paid for non-emergency treatment
and who are registered as having no fixed abode within Hospital Episode Statistics.</p><p>
</p><p>This Government is concerned about the very poor health among people who experience
homelessness and so we are taking action to address the root causes of homelessness.
We are implementing an ambitious legislative reform, the Homelessness Reduction Act,
which means more people will get the help they need earlier to prevent them from becoming
homeless in the first place. We are committed to halving rough sleeping by 2020 and
are investing £550 million to address the issue.</p>
