answer text <p>There are no specific plans to review the long-term infection prevention and control measures in intensive care units (ITU). However, as outlined in the NHS Long Term Plan and in the ‘UK 5-year action plan for antimicrobial resistance 2019 to 2024’, there is a commitment to publish a National Infection Prevention Manual for England that will contain guidelines for infection prevention and control best practice across healthcare settings. All National Health Service providers will be expected to deliver care to the standards outlined in this guidance.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Throughout the pandemic NHS England and NHS Improvement have published a variety of guidance which encompasses the robust sterilisation and decontamination of reusable medical equipment and use of single-use equipment. However, we have committed to publish a National Infection Prevention Manual for England that will contain guidelines for IPC best practice across healthcare settings. All National Health Service providers will be expected to deliver care to the standards outlined in this guidance.</p><p>The United Kingdom IPC COVID-19 cell monitors and reviews emerging evidence and data and guidance on effective IPC. answer text <p>The NHS Long Term Plan provides an extra £53 million a year for children and young people's community eating disorder services from 2021/22. This funding will enhance the development of more than 70 new or improved community eating disorder teams. An additional £79 million has been made available, some of which will be used to allow an additional 2,000 children and young people to able to access eating disorder services.</p><p>NHS England and NHS Improvement have also announced additional early intervention services for young people aged 16 to 25 years old with eating disorders in 18 areas across the country, so young adults seeking support could be contacted within 48 hours and begin treatment within two weeks.</p> more like this

answer text <p>NHS England and NHS Improvement published refreshed guidance on visiting restrictions for maternity services on 15 April 2021. The guidance sets out that all trusts should facilitate access to support for pregnant women as soon as possible by undertaking risk assessments, configuring the space used in providing care alongside infection prevention and control measures and using available testing capacity.</p><p> </p><p>Guidance produced by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is clear that women should be encouraged to have a single birth partner, who has no symptoms of COVID-19, present with them during any type of labour and birth, unless the birth occurs under general anaesthetic. If the birth partner has symptoms, an alternative, birth partner can attend in their place.</p> more like this

answer text <p>No formal assessment has been made.</p><p>The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Award in Health and Social Care, part of the National Health Service AI Laboratory, run by the Accelerated Access Collaborative in partnership with NHSX, is providing £140 million of funding available to support the development and deployment of AI technologies within health and social care. The Award will accelerate the testing and evaluation of the most promising AI technologies which meet the needs of the NHS Long Term Plan.</p><p>The AI Award is open to many different applications of AI technologies, at any stage of the development lifecycle. A Marketing Authorisation guarantees the medicine has met required standards of quality, safety and efficacy. No authorisations or licences have been granted for Apetamin and consequently offers to sell or supply it are in breach of UK legal requirements.</p><p>The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency issues regular warnings to the public concerning the risks of purchasing from unregulated websites and has run a targeted public awareness campaign #FakeMeds across social media which provided detail and tips to purchase medicines online safely.</p> more like this
