answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2014 answer text <p>The New Medicines Fund in Scotland is a matter for the Scottish Government and it would not be appropriate for the Government to comment on its effectiveness or merits.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In England, in accordance with normal government accounting rules and the agreed 2014 Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme (PPRS), there is no separately identified or ring-fenced funding stream associated with PPRS payments. Nevertheless, the Government can provide an assurance that all PPRS payments received for England will be used for spending on improving patients’ health and care.
