This will contribute to the target of helping up to 29,000 more people per year living with mental health problems to find or stay in work as recommended in the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health which is available at:</p><p><a href="https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Mental-Health-Taskforce-FYFV-final.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Mental-Health-Taskforce-FYFV-final.pdf</a></p><p>To date, NHS England has commissioned the NHS Benchmarking Network and Centre for Mental Health to undertake a data collection exercise on activity in IPS and Supported Employment services within 2016/17 to provide an indication of current access to such services.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England is preparing to allocate transformation funding identified in the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health and the subsequent Implementation Plan: ‘Implementing the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health’ for the commissioning of IPS services to selected sustainability and transformation partnership footprints from April 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/12/2017 answer text <p>The information on the average number of times an ambulance has been called to a prison, and the average number of incidents of a prisoner attending accident and emergency departments at local general hospitals is not collected centrally.</p><p> </p><p>In February 2013, the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) (now HM Prison and Probation Service) issued guidance to prisons and immigration removal centres operated by NOMS concerning emergency ambulance call-outs. This guidance, Prison Service Instruction (PSI) 03/2013 Medical Emergency Response Codes outlines the medical symptoms in a prisoner, for which a prison must always call out an emergency ambulance. This has enabled NHS England to increase the number of specialists working across the London Havens, specialist centres supporting survivors of sexual assault in the London area. This includes an increase in counselling and therapy team capacity, and the creation of social work liaison posts.</p><p> </p><p>Together with the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, NHS England have been working on a Child House pilot. This is a new integrated health, social care and criminal justice service for child victims of sexual abuse in the north central London area. This service is expected to open in 2018. The dataset includes people of any age. This means that it is possible to collect data on the transition of people from child and adolescent mental health services to adult mental health services. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/12/2017 answer text <p>Some young people need ongoing support into young adulthood, after they leave children and young people’s mental health services. This point of transition is an important stage for young people, and it is not always easy.</p><p> </p><p>That is why, in January 2015, NHS England published a Model Specification for Transitions from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, to support better transition planning and delivery by local providers. Transition from children and young people’s mental health services has also been included as one of 13 mandatory national indicators in the Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN) scheme (2017/19), which offers financial incentives to local areas to encourage improved transition planning for children and young people.</p><p> </p><p>To address issues of transition, some areas have already adopted a mental health service which supports young people from ages 0-25. Phase two of the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) thematic review of children’s and young people’s mental health services will help to identify examples of good practice and the enablers and barriers to high-quality care. For children and young people, NHS England’s Commissioning Guide for the Access and Waiting Time Standard for Children and Young People with an Eating Disorder recognises that “primary care is capable of providing good outpatient support for children and young people with a manageable eating disorder. Where this happens, general practitioners and associated practitioners need to be appropriately trained and supported in both child mental health care as well as eating disorder treatment by the local community eating-disorder service for children and young people”.
