<p>As at February 2014, the amount deducted from housing benefit claimants in Glasgow East parliamentary constituency due to the removal of the spare room subsidy was 24.4 thousand pounds per week, rising to 30.4 thousand pounds per week, an increase of 6.1 thousand pounds per week.</p>
