answer text <p /> <p>For all disabled former Remploy workers made redundant as a result of factory closures, the Government put in place the £8 million guaranteed People Help and Support Package (PHSP). The support package provides help to each affected disabled former employee for up to 18 months from the date they left Remploy.</p><p> </p><p>Latest figures show that 1,245 former Remploy disabled workers (over 80 per cent) of the 1,507 people who were made redundant and had been supported by a Personal Case Worker were in work and/or had accessed Work Choice support. A total of 1058 jobs have been found for disabled former employees and 774 are currently in work.</p> more like this

answer text <p /> <p> </p><p>Universal Credit replaces the complex ‘Permitted Work’ rules that apply to ESA with clear work incentives for disabled people through generous work allowances and a single taper. The Limited Capability for Work (LCW) and Limited Capability for Work and Work-Related Activity (LCWRA) elements - entitlement to which is based on the outcome of a Work Capability Assessment - are available to claimants both in and out of work, further strengthening the incentives for disabled people to move into work.</p><p> </p><p>These measures reflect the Government's strong commitment to help more disabled people into work, and employment now stands at a record level.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We have already reformed the scheme to enable easier transfers of support between different jobs and employers.</p><p> </p><p>In 2013 we introduced a fast-track assessment process so that individuals who already know their support requirements will move swiftly through their application.</p><p> </p><p>At the same time we also made it easier to transfer equipment so that individuals can move more easily between employers with their special aids and equipment.</p> more like this
