We are in the early stages of planning the next steps for the North Wales electrification scheme and will share further information when that work is complete. Our investment is intended to enable the operation of electric trains over the full North Wales Coast line between Holyhead and Crewe.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Mayor already has powers to determine whether e-scooter trials can take place in London and he has permitted a number of these to take place since June 2021. Transport for London administers the trials in participating boroughs with the scheme operators, and enforcement of the illegal use of e-scooters is a matter for the police.</p><p> </p><p>E-cycles can be used legally on public roads providing that they comply with the Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle regulations, which, among other things, limit their power and speed. Enforcement of the illegal use of e-cycles in London and elsewhere is a matter for the police, and local authorities have powers to remove rental e-cycles where they are causing an obstruction.</p> more like this
