answer text <p>The UK Government is committed to working with the Scottish Government to drive forward the innovative, cross-border Borderlands Deal. We will be working with local partners to agree a deal which will see significant investment to transform the local economies within the Borderlands area.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We can confirm that the Borderlands have sought funding for feasibility work on the extension of the Borders Railway as part of their Borderlands Growth Deal submission to both governments on Friday 28 September.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The government holds regular discussions with Network Rail to discuss a wide range of topics, including the asset disposal programme. This programme is ongoing and the detail of any future sales are commercially sensitive.</p><p> </p><p>HM Treasury is engaged in these asset sales discussions, working through the Department for Transport, who manage the relationship between Network Rail and central government alongside UK Government Investments. Specifically, HM Treasury is represented on a Network Rail chaired meeting where potential sales of assets are discussed and where its input can be sought.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Ministry of Justice collect statistics on the prosecution of drink drive offences and The Department for Transport collects casualty statistics involving drink driving. These statistics are published on GOV.UK The Department is working with the Ministry of Justice to see if we can make the link between drink drive prosecutions and casualties.
