<p>The Prime Minister has made it clear that we will convert existing EU regulations
into UK law when we leave. Once the Great Repeal Bill is given Royal Assent, Parliament
will be free – subject to international agreements and treaties with other countries
and the EU on matters such as trade – to amend, repeal and improve any law it chooses.
The Government is carefully considering all of the implications arising from the UK’s
exit from the European Union. However until exit negotiations are concluded, the UK
remains a full member of the EU and all the rights and obligations of EU membership
remain in force.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is committed to increasing the accessibility
of rail transport and ensuring that disabled people have the same access to transport
and opportunities to travel as everyone else. We will shortly be publishing an Accessibility
Action Plan which will bring together a range of actions from across different transport
modes to address the barriers faced by disabled people accessing public transport.</p>
