answer text <p>The Government has had a number of discussions with companies running petrol service stations about the provision of electric vehicle charge points.</p><p> </p><p>The Automated and Electric Vehicles Act gives the Government new powers to improve the provision of electric vehicle infrastructure. These proposals include powers to require provision at large fuel retailers. We have said we will monitor the market and only use these powers if the market fails to deliver the infrastructure required. The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 do not prescribe signs for petrol filling stations. An electric vehicle charging point symbol is available for use on traffic signs indicating service areas.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Option selection (GRIP 3 stage) has been completed at Streatham station. Funding will be available again from 1 April next year that will allow Network Rail to re-start the project to continue to the next stage. Projects will need to finish construction by 2024 at the latest, but I am expecting Network Rail to accelerate the work as much as possible to ensure the earliest possible delivery.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department for Transport’s data on road accidents collected from police STATS19 returns reporting personal injury road collisions does not collect definitive information about whether any of the road users involved in a collision were breaking the law.</p><p> </p><p>There is information in the STATS19 database to indicate, in the opinion of the police officer attending the scene, what contributory factors might have played a part in a particular road collision. However, this information is not recorded for all collisions and is based on the officer’s initial opinion assessment only before any legal action has taken place. In addition, information about breath test results at the scene is collected but there is no record of whether this led to a prosecution or conviction.</p><p><br>Data on prosecutions are collected by the Ministry of Justice.</p><p> </p> more like this

Although preliminary work to develop suitable methodologies has taken place, it has not yet been possible to develop these into a data set that can be generated in a regular or systematic way. answer text <p>The Government is keen to encourage more people to cycle to work and supports this through schemes including the Cycle to Work scheme which can help make cycling more affordable for employees in both the public and private sectors. All government buildings are expected to provide sufficient cycle parking facilities wherever practicable, but decisions on this are for individual government departments and agencies.
