<p> </p><p>Under Schedule 4 of the Track Access Agreements between Network Rail and the train operating companies, Network Rail compensates train operators on a formula basis for the estimated overall cost impact of network possessions. It is the train operator that is responsible for providing and meeting the cost of any rail replacement bus services, not Network Rail.</p>
