answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/05/2024 answer text <p>The Department collects information on personal injury road collisions reported to police via the STATS19 data collection system.</p><p> </p><p>Fatal casualties do not have an injury recorded for them. Only slight and serious casualties reported on an injury-based reporting system have detail on the type of injuries sustained in the collision. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/05/2024 answer text <p>Although there is no obligation to report all animal deaths on roads, Rule 286 of The Highway Code advises drivers to report any accident involving an animal to the police. If possible, they should make enquiries to ascertain the owner of domestic animals, such as cats, and advise them of the situation.
