<p>The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency announced on 4 June 2020 that drivers with
a photocard driving licence due to expire between 1 February and 31 August 2020 will
be granted a seven-month extension to their licence.</p><p> </p><p>For those drivers
who need to renew their entitlement to drive, the quickest and easiest way to do so
is to use DVLA’s online service. Drivers who are unable to use the online service
should submit a paper application in the normal way. However, paper applications will
take longer to process in the current circumstances.</p>
